
Horses can come to Braeface for training such as backing, schooling, preparation for Stallion grading and phantom training on the dummy for Stallions.
Winter Training Clinics
Please see below for details of our Winter Training Clinics with Andrea Verdina, Diana Zajda, David Gatherer and Jo Barry. Lessons will be arranged for groups of 3-4 riders, matched, where possible, according to ability and experience. All lessons will be at a cost of £35- £45 per person, per session.

Trainers
Andrea Verdina
Italian rider, Andrea Verdina is an Olympic three day event rider and qualifed instructor to BHSI equivalent. In 2000 he competed and was placed at the Sydney Olympics, and won a bronze medal at Paul 2001 in the European Championships. Andrea is currently based in Gloucestershire where he and his wife Didi train, produce, and compete horses. Andrea bought William Fox Pitt’s current ride, Parkmore Ed as a four year old. Andrea teaches pupils at all levels and delivers professional and enjoyable training sessions.
Diana Zajda
Diana is a qualified BHSI and teaches riders at all levels and in all Equestrian Disciplines. She currently competes her horse Chablis at Advanced Medium dressage, qualifying for the 2008 British Dressage Regional Championships and Scottish Championships. Her lessons can incorporate both flatwork and jumping or be tailored according to your needs. Click here for more information on Diana’s background.
David Gatherer
David Gatherer is one of Scotlands best known and respected three day event riders and trainers. David is based near Glasgow and trains, produces and competes horses. He is well known for his training clinics throughout Scotland and places for his clinics are bound to be taken quickly!
Jo Barry
Jo Barry is one of Scotland’s leading young dressage riders. Originally interested in showing, Jo discovered dressage and was immediately hooked. In her late teens she joined Carl Hester’s yard, becoming his head girl and travelling with him to the Sydney Olympics in 2000. She then returned to Scotland to run her own livery and training yard in Edinburgh and produce her own string of dressage horses. In 2007 she won the Novice Freestyle at the British Dressage Winter Championships and then the NuuMed Potential International Dressage Horse Championship and Elementary Open with her 5yr old dutch gelding, Vivaldi I at the National Championships. In 2008 she won the Novice Freestyle with Waratah IV, a 5 yr old horse, originally bred by Braeface Stud. Jo is a Scottish Equestrian Association (SEA) accredited coach and BE trainer and has been selected for the World Class Pathway Programme with Vivaldi.
